In addition to posting the Interim Final Rule a few weeks ago, the DEA has announced that it will be LEGAL to send controlled substances electronically starting June 1, 2010.

DrFirst has been sending controlled substances electronically for years in our pilot program made possible with a DEA waiver in Berkshire, MA. We have been on the front lines of this issue from day one, and are confident that we are far ahead of the game in terms of being ready to provide this important functionality.

Time is running out to make sure that you will be among the first doctors to be able to prescribe controlled drugs electronically – so ask yourself…. how much longer will you have to wait?

Stay tuned to our blog and www.drfirst.com to stay informed as we get closer to June 1st.
